A new gathering in Madrid welcomed religious representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The meeting included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers offered reflections from faith, culture and public service on how open dialogue can strengthen coexistence.
In the discussion, participants addressed themes such as news euros tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when rooted in respect for human rights.
